Camp Reel Stories believes that when women and girls are better represented behind the scenes in the media they will be better reflected on the screen. Get ready to be inspired and empowered!

Watch some of the amazing short films created by 12- to18-year-old girls from all over the Bay Area (including Albany!) at Camp Reel Stories – A Media Camp for Girls. Working in small, collaborative production companies and mentored by leaders in the film and television industry, these media camps for girls in Oakland give young women the skills to make their own media, view current media more critically and thoughtfully and to aspire to leadership. A Q&A with young filmmakers follows the films.
