In this workshop, we bring together the local film community to focus on story and its relationship to characters and their worlds.
Through a series of brief lectures intermixed with workshop activities, we’ll discuss story structure, character development, and world creation by looking at examples in art and film, touching on production design, visual communications basics, the importance of theme.
We’ll even look into the how these issues are discussed through the philosophy of aesthetics. The group will workshop storyboard content and end the session with time to socialize, helping to connect the local filmmaking community.
