Albany FilmFest Presents...Lahmajune with filmmaker Q&A

LAHMAJUNE - promo still.jpg

This short documentary film (19:13) is a heartwarming and delicious story of an Armenian family, two Mexican immigrants, and a bakery at the heart of an L.A. neighborhood. A Q&A and discussion with filmmaker Anahid Nazarian will follow the screening.

This program is a co-presentation with Albany FilmFest and Alameda County Library as part of our Alameda County Reads program celebrating the book Eat Joy.

Alameda County Reads is a new program that celebrates our communities, our connections, and ourselves, by encouraging a thoughtful exchange of ideas through the joy of reading together.

Our book selection is Eat Joy, a collection of personal essays and recipes from some of our best writers who share how comfort food flavored important moments in their lives.
